As part of our work for our sixth green flag for Global Citizenship - Litter and Waste, we are learning about the Global Goals for Sustainable Development.
We have focussed on the following goals:
- Good Health and Wellbeing
- Responsible Consumption and Production
- Climate Action
- Sustainable Communities
We have done this by:
- Celebrating Friendship Week and Wellbeing Wednesday, participating in Food Dudes and the Incredible Edibles, and being awarded the Gold Healthy Eating Award from Agriaware last summer
- Learning about food origins and Fairtrade
- Participating in the Climate and Nature Summate and creating our Climate Action Pledge, which is on show in our PE hall
- Developing our first-ever Sustainable Environment Policy
