We marked National Tree Day today in our school. Our classes learned about the parts of a tree and decorated some trees in our PE hall for Autumn.
We learned that one of the cleverest things that trees do is to absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen, which helps us to fight climate change. So, our top tip to root for nature is to plant more trees!
