Today the boys and girls in Senior infants, 1st class and 2nd class enjoyed a fabulously noisy visit to our school from a 5-piece Brass Quintet. We learnt all about the different sounds, shapes, and music that is possible by playing instruments solo and playing together by hearing a range of different genres by professional musicians. We got to hear a Trumpet, Trombone, a French Horn, a Tuba and a Saxophone! Lots of tunes were recognised and sang along with.
