We welcomed our past pupil Gideon back to the school this afternoon as part of active week. Gideon started his football career like so many of our pupils playing for Corduff FC. He has played for Ireland. He is currently signed with Shelbourne Utd and playing on loan with Athlone Utd this season.
Gideon had a chat with the children and answered lots of their questions. The pupils of 1st and 2nd class made fantastic posters and cards for him. The children got to take penalty shots against him.

We have a lot of talented pupils in our school, we hope Gideon has inspired them to keep chasing their dreams.
