Sun Breathing

Remembering to focus on our breathing can help nurture our well-being.

Taking a deep breath in through the nose and blowing it out slowly through the mouth can help calm our bodies and minds. We can think about smelling flowers as we breathe in and blowing out candles as we breathe out.

This “Sun Breathing” activity is a great way to concentrate on our breathing for a moment.

We start by sitting in a chair with our hands on our lap. We take a deep breath in and raise our arm above our head and catch the sunlight. As we breathe out with a "hah" we pull the sunshine down to our heart. We repeat with the other arm.
