Update on New School Building

Dear Parents,

The Boards of Management have received the long-awaited news that the new Senior school building will be handed over on 29th August 2022. This is very welcome news and we are delighted that the two schools will now be moving. The Senior school will be moving into the new building and the Junior school will be moving into the old Senior school building on a temporary basis until the new Junior school is built. 

In order to facilitate the moving of the two schools, it is necessary to change the original holiday calendar which you received over the last few weeks. The Department of Education has sanctioned exceptional closing days in order to assist this process, therefore the first day of the new school term will now be 5th September 2022. The amended calendar is attached.

We look forward to this new phase in the history of our schools and we are very grateful to you for all the support you have shown us over the past number of years.
