Welcome back to School September 2022

Dear Parents,

I am sure you are looking forward to the children returning to school on Monday 5th September. There has been an amazing amount of work done during the last few weeks to make sure that the school buildings are ready for the children. The finishing touches are being applied and all will be in order for the children on Monday.

As the building works continue and the new school is not yet occupied we will have to continue with the staggered entry time, meaning that your children can come to school any time from 8: 50 until 9:10. Breakfast will be available to the children in their classrooms, unfortunately, we will have to wait until the Senior school has moved into their new building before we can re-open our actual Breakfast Club.

Regarding school uniforms, you will be aware that we do have a new school uniform which is available in our school, however, we are also very happy for the children to wear a plain navy tracksuit (without branding ) which is readily available in Dunnes / Pennys.

On Monday when you arrive at the school there will be school staff available to direct you to where you have to go. Please bear with us as we are all getting used to the Senior school building. Please know the room number of your child’s class.

Early Start

Please remember that all home time information for each class level is always available on the school website, www.stpatricksjns.ie. Early Start morning class will meet from 10 until 11, and the afternoon class will meet at 12 until 1 pm. Junior Infants will go home at 10:50, Senior Infants will go home at 1:30 and the children will be collected from the classroom door.

 First and Second classes will finish at 2:30, I would appreciate it if these children could also be collected at the classroom door for the first few days until permission slips have been issued.

I am really looking forward to meeting all the children and parents/guardians on Monday for the start of what we hope will be a wonderful year for us all.
